Some Epistemological Reflections on the Interpretation of a Dream

The paper is an account of the interpretation of a dream in an analytic session showing

how an initial resistance to association is reduced to allow memories to be recovered.

Epistemological reflections on this process lead to a consideration of subjectivity and objectivity

in contemporary psychoanalysis.
