Text Box: SOCIETY PSYCHOANALYTIC SOCIETY OF NEW ENGLAND, EAST The Psychoanalytic Society of New England, East (PSNE) was founded in May 1991 by the members of the Psychoanalytic Institute of New England, East (PINE). It is fully accredited by the American Psychoanalytic Association. The purpose of the Society is to provide continued educational opportunity both for its members and the greater community, foster a closer relationship between psychoanalysis and institutions of learning. The Society provides members with an effective voice about issues which concern and effect psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.
