NOTICE OF NONDISCRIMINATORY POLICY

The Psychoanalytic Institute of New England, East admits students and appoints faculty and other personnel, and administers its policies and procedures, without prejudicial reference to sex, color, race, national or ethnic origin.


REQUIREMENTS OF ADMISSION

Applicants for training in psychoanalysis must provide evidence of integrity of character, general maturity, good motivation and aptitude for study and practice of psychoanalysis, good health, and excellence of prior educational and work experience.

For all applicants for full clinical training, this previous training experience must conform to the guidelines established by the Board on Professional Standards of the American Psychoanalytic Association.  According to these guidelines, prospective candidates may apply for partial training, research training, or full clinical training.  

A candidate's educational and clinical preparation must be such that s/he is licensed by the appropriate professional board of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts prior to beginning his/her supervised control work.
